1. Scope
This policy describes the processing of personal data carried out by the Findr Android application (package com.abeeway.findr), distributed through Google Play.
2. Data collected
2.1 Account and identification
Using the application requires an account, managed through our Keycloak authentication server, hosted by Scaleway.
Data processed: email address, associated organisation, roles, session tokens.
Authentication tokens are written to and read from the device's secure storage and are not shared with third parties.
2.2 Location
The application uses precise (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) and approximate (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) location in order to display your position on the map.
- Location is collected only while the application is open and in the foreground. The application does not request background location access.
- Your position stays on the device and is never transmitted to our servers.
2.3 Data from the connected product (USB serial)
The application communicates with the Findr device over a USB serial link, in order to provide access to the Recovery Beacon function of the trackers sold by Abeeway.
Data exchanged between the phone and the Findr device over the USB link is stored locally and is not transmitted to third parties.
This physical device is required in order to use the application.
2.4 Files on the device
The application allows you to save your search to a file that stored in the 'Downloads' folder (it's an optionnal feature). The contents of that file correspond to the data returned by the Findr device over the USB link when the user start a research.
The application does not browse the contents of your device for any other purpose.

No data is sold or otherwise transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

We will respond within one month.
If you disagree with our handling of your request, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority (3 place de Fontenoy, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — cnil.fr).
6. Account and data deletion
You can request the deletion of your account:

The following will then be deleted: all information provided when your account was created.
7. Intended audience
The application is intended for a professional audience in possession of the hardware supplied by Abeeway that is required for the application to function.
